Kyle Boller, Baltimore Ravens quarterbackBaltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick stated the obvious on Monday when he announced that Kyle Boller will remain the team’s starting quarterback for the short-term; Billick also indicated that QB Steve McNair, who was originally projected to miss 2-to-3 weeks with a partially dislocated non-throwing shoulder, isn’t recovered from his injury.

That basically, by default or otherwise, makes Boller the starter when the Ravens play New England this weekend.  Billick also said that Troy Smith, the Ravens’ 5th-round pick from Ohio State, will not be used – at least not by design.
