Baltimore Ravens is continuing to fill out his coaching staff as it was learned by Edward Lee of the Baltimore Sun that team head coach John Harbaugh announced during a news conference Monday that Clarence Brooks and Mike Pettine have been retained as assistant defensive coaches.  Defensive coordinator Rex Ryan has also acknowledged that Pettine would return to the Ravens in some capacity.

Pettine, who coached the outside linebackers, could possibly succeed former linebackers coach Jeff FitzGerald, who joined the Cincinnati Bengals as LB coach last week.  Brooks’ specific role with the Ravens’ has not been defined as of yet.
