Smith

While the Ravens eventually will turn the quarterback spot over to first-round draft pick Joe Flacco, right now it’s up in the air who will start the season for the team under center. Between veteran Kyle Boller, 2nd year QB Troy Smith, and Flacco, it’s anyones guess. Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that Smith has done a good job this past offseason, and could very well get the nod to start the season. Don’t forget the former Heisman Trophy winner played pretty well in the season finale vs the Steelers in a win. Schefter says that Smith has his teammates backing, and that so far Smith has been impressive working with the number two unit. Boller is running the first team - for now.
