Ravens Trade Safety-CB Martin to the Packers
Posted by Matt Loede on September 5th, 2009 in News
The National Football Post reports on a deal between the Packers and Ravens:
The Baltimore Ravens have traded safety-cornerback Derrick Martin to the Green Bay Packers, according to a league source. The terms of the compensation haven’t been disclosed, but it’s likely a 2010 late-round conditional draft pick. An athletic former sixth-round draft pick from Wyoming, Martin drew praise from Ravens coach John Harbaugh for his consistency with Harbaugh predicting he had a good chance to make the 53-man roster.
