Penalties have hampered the success of this team all season. They have been one of if not the most penalized team in the league. Pass interference being a biggest area of complaint. They were only hit with 5 against Detroit, which is a great improvement but they must tighten up if they expect to make a playoff run.

Harbaugh still insists that the penalties are a result of aggression and not undisciplined football. That's an arguable point. Let's hope it doesn't cost them.

Very well played game, however I would like to get your take on the penalties from the Lions game and throughout the season. Harbaugh is suppose to be a no nonsense disciplinarian type coach and I still feel that this team looks to be undisciplined. In the playoffs a timely penalty could lead to there demise and a quick exit from the playoffs.
