I think that the Ravens need to make a move and they need to be smart. I think that they should pursue A. Boldin because he is a great player and has no problems off the field. He is the smart desicion for the Ravens.

I agree with most of what you are saying in this article. I think that we should keep the organized chaos going because it is something that no other team has been able to pull off successfully. It is a Baltimore trademark in a way. And also I think that we should keep the 3-4 defense, this is because we are best known for our fierce strength and speed, put K.Gregg as nose tackle and H. Ngata as an end. With our linebackers we are more versatile and, I think, a bigger threat to opposing teams. It would be hard to both run and pass on us. Another reson to keep this is because we have the ability to spread out more because of our speed so why not take advantage of something most other teams can't do. These are changes that will be hard for me to get used to because of how affective they are for us and the fact that they are a Baltimore trademark to me.

I think that Marcus Smith, though he is still a very young player, should be moved up to the third receiver. Our first two receivers are more compact, strong, and fast. We could use his height to our advantage and be able to have more variety in our passing options, we would be able to throw more high passes because of his height and that would open up more short range pass plays. Wit him we can throw our usual low passes and than the added high passes which would cause more trouble for the defense.

It is truly remarkable to see the turnover the Ravens have had on defense over the years, both from a personnel standpoint and a coaching standpoint, without missing a beat.

I adore Kelly Gregg for his play and his work ethic. I really hope he can play this season at a high level. The defense wasn't the same without him. I think with him, we're a #1 defense again. But I hope his mind isn't doing something his body simply cannot do.

Agreed. The article didn't say that and the quote is taken out of context.

The problems is that he hasn't been able to play, not that he's playing poorly...

I don't think it's fair to say poor play, nor is it accurate. When he's been on the field he has been good, with flashes of greatness.

As stated in the article (and already known by every Ravens fan) is that he can't stay ON the field.
